The work Le 28 Juillet – La Liberté Guidant Le Peuple, 1830 by Eugène Delacroix was worth GBP 3,128,750.00 (€ 3,520,949.82) to a buyer in December 2017. This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art at Christies in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,000,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène Delacroix - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tigre jouant avec une tortue, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 9,875,000.00 (€ 8,461,868.04).

Die Arbeit Le 28 Juillet – La Liberté Guidant Le Peuple, 1830 von Eugène Delacroix war einem Käufer im Dezember 2017 GBP 3.128.750,00 (€ 3.520.949,82) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art bei Christies in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000.000,00 um ein Vielfaches.
