Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Artcurial held the auction Orientalism, which included the work La Mosquée D'Urfa, 1849 by Eugène Napoléon Flandin. The price achieved of EUR 17,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène Napoléon Flandin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French The Sehzade Mosque In Laleli, Constantinople, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 53,300.00 (€ 67,799.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Mosquée D'Urfa, 1849 von Eugène Napoléon Flandin zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 17.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugène Napoléon Flandin mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit French The Sehzade Mosque In Laleli, Constantinople beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 53.300,00 (€ 67.799,93) versteigert wurde.
