Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Oued À El Kantara by Eugène Jules Delahogue was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in October 2009. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 3,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Eugène Jules Delahogue have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2014 the work Château D'Hydra was auctioned for EUR 5,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Oued À El Kantara von Eugène Jules Delahogue kam im Oktober 2009 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 3.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Eugène Jules Delahogue konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2014 die Arbeit Château D'Hydra für EUR 5.200,00 versteigert.
