The work La Robe Noire by Eugène Vidal was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in September 2017. It achieved a price of EUR 2,990.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eugène Vidal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Petite fille devant la mer, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,368.85).

Die Arbeit La Robe Noire von Eugène Vidal kam im September 2017 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.990,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Eugène Vidal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Petite fille devant la mer beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.368,85) versteigert wurde.
