In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction A Window On The Orient -A Distinguished Private Collection, which included the work Nice by Fabius Lorenzi. The result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,390.00) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabius Lorenzi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nice, which sold at auction in April 2012 for GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,898.91).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion A Window On The Orient -A Distinguished Private Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nice von Fabius Lorenzi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.390,00) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fabius Lorenzi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nice beobachtet, die im April 2012 für GBP 5.625,00 (€ 6.898,91) versteigert wurde.
