In the Le Paris du Monde Arabe auction, the work Abstraction II sold for EUR 1,792.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Le Paris du Monde Arabe wurde die Arbeit Abstraction II für EUR 1.792,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.016.330,73).
