Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2018 Christies in Dubai held the auction Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Portrait of ClareMaria by Fahrelnissa Zeid. The price achieved of USD 225,000.00 (€ 182,629.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 200,000.00 – 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2018 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion Dubai: Post War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait of ClareMaria von Fahrelnissa Zeid zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 225.000,00 (€ 182.629,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.016.330,73).
