Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Turkish untitled by Fahrelnissa Zeid was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 45,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 47,500.00 (€ 64,502.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fahrelnissa Zeid achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,016,330.73).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Turkish untitled von Fahrelnissa Zeid wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 45.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 47.500,00 (€ 64.502,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fahrelnissa Zeid erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Break Of The Atom And Vegetal Life im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.016.330,73).
