This artwork by Yang Fan achieved an unexpectedly high price at POLY in Hong Kong in October 2013. In the Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) auction, the work Capturing The King And Thief sold for HKD 40,250.00 (€ 3,819.52) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Yang Fan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Enlightment in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 828,000.00 (€ 77,009.37).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Yang Fan erzielte im Oktober 2013 bei POLY in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink Paintings (I) wurde die Arbeit Capturing The King And Thief für HKD 40.250,00 (€ 3.819,52) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Yang Fan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Enlightment im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 828.000,00 (€ 77.009,37).
