This artwork by Fang Zhaoling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in September 2018. In the Fine Chinese Paintings auction, the work Landscape sold for USD 2,000.00 (€ 1,720.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fang Zhaoling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spring Boating in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 1,840,000.00 (€ 171,131.94).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fang Zhaoling erzielte im September 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Landscape für USD 2.000,00 (€ 1.720,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fang Zhaoling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spring Boating im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.840.000,00 (€ 171.131,94).
