Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2004 Christies in New York held the auction The House Sale, which included the work The Cardinal'S Tea-Time by Federico Ballesio. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,346.00 (€ 2,687.12). Admittedly, works by Federico Ballesio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The child Mozart in concert in March 2002 with an auction result of GBP 14,100.00 (€ 23,049.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion The House Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Cardinal'S Tea-Time von Federico Ballesio zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.346,00 (€ 2.687,12) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Ballesio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The child Mozart in concert im März 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.100,00 (€ 23.049,79).
