Despite a disappointment, a good price for Federico Zandomeneghi
When the work Italian la Coiffure by Federico Zandomeneghi was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 2,000,000.00 – 3,000,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 1,805,000.00 (€ 1,326,620.61). Despite this disappointing result, Italian la Coiffure is the most expensive artwork by Federico Zandomeneghi that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Federico Zandomeneghi
Als die Arbeit Italian la Coiffure von Federico Zandomeneghi im November 2013 bei Sothebys in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000.000,00 – 3.000.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 1.805.000,00 (€ 1.326.620,61) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist Italian la Coiffure das teuerste Kunstwerk von Federico Zandomeneghi, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
