Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction The Orientalist Sale, which included the work French the Arab Scouts by Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 35,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 51,496.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portraits Présumés Du Chérif Boubaghla Et De Lalla Fatma N'Soumer Conduisant L'Armée Révolutionnaire in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 325,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit French the Arab Scouts von Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 51.496,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Henri Felix Emmanuel Philippoteaux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portraits Présumés Du Chérif Boubaghla Et De Lalla Fatma N'Soumer Conduisant L'Armée Révolutionnaire im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 325.500,00.
