Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2006 Christies in Tel Aviv held the auction 19th and 20th Century Art, which included the work Horses By The Seashore by Felix Nussbaum. The price achieved of USD 72,000.00 (€ 57,034.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Felix Nussbaum have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 271,633.74).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2006 führte Christies in Tel Aviv die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Horses By The Seashore von Felix Nussbaum zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 57.034,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Felix Nussbaum auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stillleben Mit Schachteln (Still Life With Boxes) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 271.633,74).
