Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2011 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale, which included the work Test match at Lords by Feliks Topolski. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,980.12), 17% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feliks Topolski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sir Winston Churchill, which sold at auction in July 2014 for GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,414.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Sunday Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Test match at Lords von Feliks Topolski zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.980,12) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Feliks Topolski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sir Winston Churchill beobachtet, die im Juli 2014 für GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.414,60) versteigert wurde.
