Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2017 Christies in Paris held the auction TABLEAUX 1400 - 1900, which included the work Le Coup de canon by Félix Ziem. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 75,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Félix Ziem - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption, which sold at auction in July 2017 for GBP 191,000.00 (€ 213,126.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2017 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion TABLEAUX 1400 - 1900 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le Coup de canon von Félix Ziem zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 75.000,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Félix Ziem mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption beobachtet, die im Juli 2017 für GBP 191.000,00 (€ 213.126,67) versteigert wurde.
