Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Feng Linzhang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in August 2021. In the Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online auction, the work The Vibrancy of Spring sold for HKD 44,100.00 (€ 4,802.42) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Linzhang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Quiet Valley in October 2000 with an auction result of HKD 141,000.00 (€ 21,301.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Feng Linzhang erzielte im August 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Inkspiration: Chinese Paintings Online wurde die Arbeit The Vibrancy of Spring für HKD 44.100,00 (€ 4.802,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Linzhang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Quiet Valley im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 141.000,00 (€ 21.301,20).
