This artwork by Ferdinand Hodler achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Zurich in September 2018. In the Swiss Art Sale auction, the work Bildnis Albert Trachsel sold for CHF 12,500.00 (€ 11,022.20) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Hodler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy in June 2013 with an auction result of CHF 8,005,000.00 (€ 6,511,061.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferdinand Hodler erzielte im September 2018 bei Christies in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Art Sale wurde die Arbeit Bildnis Albert Trachsel für CHF 12.500,00 (€ 11.022,20) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Hodler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 8.005.000,00 (€ 6.511.061,49).
