The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 50,084.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Roman Ruin At Twilight is the most expensive artwork by Ferdinand Knab that we have observed at auctions so far.
