Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Twilight at the lakeside, La Brière by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau was sold in the 19th Century European Art auction at Christies in London in April 2015. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,582.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Loyen du Puigaudeau achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venise, Le Palais Des Doges in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 269,000.00 (€ 197,214.08).
