Despite a disappointment, a good price for Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa
When this work without title by Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,197.37). Despite this disappointing result, this work without title is the most expensive artwork by Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.197,37) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist dieses Werk ohne Titel das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fereydoun Rahimi-Assa, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
