In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session, which included the work Man with Hat by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 375,000.00 (€ 43,493.06), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fernando Cueto Amorsolo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maiden With Fruits, 1930 in March 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,975,625.00 (€ 564,565.93).

Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Morning Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Man with Hat von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 375.000,00 (€ 43.493,06) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fernando Cueto Amorsolo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maiden With Fruits, 1930 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.975.625,00 (€ 564.565,93).
