Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work The Conversion Of Saint Paul by Fedele Fischetti was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 6,875.00 (€ 5,694.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fedele Fischetti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La toilette de Psyché in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit The Conversion Of Saint Paul von Fedele Fischetti im April 2018 bei Christies in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 6.875,00 (€ 5.694,05) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fedele Fischetti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La toilette de Psyché im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.500,00.
