Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work A young woman gathering firewood by Filiberto Petiti. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 937.50 (€ 1,133.35), 17% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Filiberto Petiti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tramonto Su Campagna Romana in June 2007 with an auction result of EUR 4,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit A young woman gathering firewood von Filiberto Petiti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 937,50 (€ 1.133,35) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Filiberto Petiti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tramonto Su Campagna Romana im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.800,00.
