In the European Art: 19th Century & Orientalist Art auction, the work Daffodils in a ginger jar sold for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 28,069.72) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Floris Verster; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dutch A Still Life With Marigold And Delphinium In A Bowl sold at auction in April 2009 with the realized price of EUR 42,750.00.
