Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Cristo scaccia i mercanti dal tempio by Francesco da Ponte for EUR 15,000.00. This price was achieved in the auction Importanti Arredi, Dipinti Antichi, Oggetti d'Arte e Arte Orientale at Il Ponte and was even below the estimate range of EUR 16,000.00 – 18,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Francesco da Ponte have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a bearded gentleman, half-length, in a black doublet with a white collar in June last year with an auction result of USD 88,200.00 (€ 84,248.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cristo scaccia i mercanti dal tempio von Francesco da Ponte für EUR 15.000,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Importanti Arredi, Dipinti Antichi, Oggetti d'Arte e Arte Orientale bei Il Ponte erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 16.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francesco da Ponte auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a bearded gentleman, half-length, in a black doublet with a white collar im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 88.200,00 (€ 84.248,73).
