Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Il Ponte held the auction Arredi, Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica e Strumenti Musicali, which included the work Presepe con pastori by Francesco Londonio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 32,000.00 23% above the upper estimate. Other works by Francesco Londonio have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 72,000.00 (€ 55,176.64) in January 2005 for the work Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arredi, Dipinti Antichi, Argenti, Tappeti e Tessuti, Historica e Strumenti Musicali durch, in der auch die Arbeit Presepe con pastori von Francesco Londonio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 32.000,00 und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Francesco Londonio haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 55.176,64) im Januar 2005 für die Arbeit Shepherds with their grazing sheep; Shepherds resting with their flock; and Peasants traveling with donkeys and sheep beobachtet.
