In the Old Master & British Pictures auction, the work A View of The Dolo On The Brenta sold for GBP 50,900.00 (€ 64,890.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Francesco Tironi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Grand Canal with the Rialto Bridge from the South; Saint Mark's Square with the Basilica and the Campanile in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 525,000.00 (€ 615,671.36).
