Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Francisco Toledo was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 4,750.00 (€ 4,310.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Toledo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Meu Xubi in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,040,000.00 (€ 943,824.30).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Francisco Toledo kam im November 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 4.310,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Toledo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Meu Xubi im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.040.000,00 (€ 943.824,30).
