In May 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Mujer de pie con rebozo by Francisco Zúñiga. The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,084.73) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).

Im Mai 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mujer de pie con rebozo von Francisco Zúñiga zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.084,73) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Zúñiga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.127.500,00 (€ 2.783.463,87).
