Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Francisco Zúñiga could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Native American Art auction, the work "Two Women with Child," 1960 changed hands for USD 2,805.00 (€ 2,786.89) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francisco Zúñiga konnte im August letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Native American Art wechselte die Arbeit "Two Women with Child," 1960 für USD 2.805,00 (€ 2.786,89) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Zúñiga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.127.500,00 (€ 2.783.463,87).
