Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Landscape by Frank Hammershøj for DKK 1,500.00 (€ 201.47). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Hammershøj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work “Spring Wind”, triptych in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 2,400.00 (€ 2,097.54).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Landscape von Frank Hammershøj für DKK 1.500,00 (€ 201,47) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Hammershøj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit “Spring Wind”, triptych im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 2.400,00 (€ 2.097,54).
