It achieved a price of GBP 1,800.00 (€ 2,673.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Franz Quaglio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Circus on the St. Jakobsplatz, Munich in April 2001 with an auction result of NLG 41,125.00 (€ 18,875.61).

Die Arbeit A Pair Of Riding Scenes von Franz Quaglio kam im November 2006 bei Sothebys in Olympia zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.800,00 (€ 2.673,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Franz Quaglio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Circus on the St. Jakobsplatz, Munich im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 41.125,00 (€ 18.875,61).
