Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Germanserpentinen Tänzerinnen (Serpentine Dancers) by Franz von Stuck was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2007. The price achieved of GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz von Stuck achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German the Dragon Slayer in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 605,000.00 (€ 841,188.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Germanserpentinen Tänzerinnen (Serpentine Dancers) von Franz von Stuck kam im November 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz von Stuck erzielen.
