In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nineteenth Century European Art Including Russian Pictures, which included the work Summer blooms in a classical urn by Franz Xaver Pieler. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,829.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Franz Xaver Pieler have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2000 the work Roses, irises, daffodils, carnations and other flowers in a vase on a ledge was auctioned for NLG 23,404.00 (€ 10,287.56).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 8.829,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
