Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

The work The Church Service by Fred Yates was sold in the Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,216.00 (€ 1,396.31). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Die Arbeit The Church Service von Fred Yates wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.216,00 (€ 1.396,31) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair of Still Lifes im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75).
