The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,780.00 (€ 4,879.54), 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Frederick Stanley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Soapbox Wreck in October 2016 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 25,086.66).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.780,00 (€ 4.879,54) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Stanley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Soapbox Wreck im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 25.086,66).
