Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,600.00 (€ 18,674.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Daniel Hardy - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Festive Treat, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 37,600.00 (€ 61,455.72).
