Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rheims by Frederick Edward Joseph Goff was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2002. The price achieved of GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,920.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Edward Joseph Goff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work London Bridge With St Paul'S Cathedral Beyond, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 4,320.00 (€ 6,357.17).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.920,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick Edward Joseph Goff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit London Bridge With St Paul'S Cathedral Beyond beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 4.320,00 (€ 6.357,17) versteigert wurde.
