Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2004 Christies in London held the auction Important British Art, which included the work Wayfarers by Frederick Walker. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 83,650.00 (€ 120,330.07). Other works by Frederick Walker have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 139,650.00 (€ 200,885.77) in November 2004 for the work The Harbour Of Refuge.

Im November 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wayfarers von Frederick Walker zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 83.650,00 (€ 120.330,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Frederick Walker haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 139.650,00 (€ 200.885,77) im November 2004 für die Arbeit The Harbour Of Refuge beobachtet.
