The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Child Miranda 'The isle is full of noises, Sounds, and sweet airs, that give delight, and hurt not'- Tempest in June 2004 with an auction result of GBP 206,850.00 (€ 307,854.76).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 330,00 und damit 65% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederic William Burton erzielen.
