Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 744.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick William Hulme achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sheep resting in a woodland glade, a traveller looking on in November 2002 with an auction result of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 52,396.64).
