Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Winter Landscape with Ice Amusements on a Frozen River by Frederik Marinus Kruseman was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 29,116.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Marinus Kruseman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Winter Landscape With Skating Figures Near A Castle in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 516,000.00.

Die Arbeit Winter Landscape with Ice Amusements on a Frozen River von Frederik Marinus Kruseman kam im April 2015 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 29.116,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Marinus Kruseman erzielen.
