Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Sunset In The Mountains by Friedrich Albin Koko-Micoletzky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 437.50 (€ 586.49) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Friedrich Albin Koko-Micoletzky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Yachting at daybreak in June 2002 with an auction result of GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,726.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunset In The Mountains von Friedrich Albin Koko-Micoletzky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 437,50 (€ 586,49) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Friedrich Albin Koko-Micoletzky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Yachting at daybreak im Juni 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.726,19).
