Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Shadow Script by Feng Mingqiu for HKD 18,750.00 (€ 2,190.50). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Asian Art at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Feng Mingqiu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,890.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Shadow Script von Feng Mingqiu für HKD 18.750,00 (€ 2.190,50) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Mingqiu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Light Form Script: Heart Sutra (Two Works) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.890,97).
