In the The House Sale auction, the work Rittrato di Donna sold for USD 16,800.00 (€ 12,698.41) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gaetano Bellei have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Italian a Windy Day in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 134,500.00 (€ 93,558.71).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gaetano Bellei erzielte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit Rittrato di Donna für USD 16.800,00 (€ 12.698,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaetano Bellei auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Italian a Windy Day im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 134.500,00 (€ 93.558,71).
