Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Ganesh Haloi was sold in the MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ART auction at Christies in New York in March 2006. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,896.94). Admittedly, works by Ganesh Haloi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 50,250.00 (€ 59,532.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ganesh Haloi wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion MODERN AND CONTEMPORARY INDIAN ART bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.896,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ganesh Haloi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Lord Buddha the Enlightened One im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.250,00 (€ 59.532,68).
