This artwork by Gao Qifeng achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2021. In the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy auction, the work Flowers And Birds sold for HKD 354,000.00 (€ 37,901.25) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qifeng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Roaring Lion in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 15,640,000.00 (€ 1,454,621.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Qifeng erzielte im April 2021 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Flowers And Birds für HKD 354.000,00 (€ 37.901,25) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qifeng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Roaring Lion im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 15.640.000,00 (€ 1.454.621,49).
