The work Six-Character Couplet In Running Script by Gao Yong was sold in the Takahashi Kouhou Collection auction at China Guardian in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 21,600.00 (€ 2,402.70), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gao Yong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Running Script Calligraphy, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 62,500.00 (€ 7,633.50).

Die Arbeit Six-Character Couplet In Running Script von Gao Yong wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Takahashi Kouhou Collection bei China Guardian versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 21.600,00 (€ 2.402,70) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gao Yong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Running Script Calligraphy beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 62.500,00 (€ 7.633,50) versteigert wurde.
