Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year Bonhams in London held the auction Old Master Paintings, which included the work An extensive classical landscape with fishermen on the banks of a river by Gaspard Dughet. The price achieved of GBP 11,475.00 (€ 13,703.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaspard Dughet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A wooded landscape with figures by a river in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 324,000.00 (€ 237,188.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Old Master Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit An extensive classical landscape with fishermen on the banks of a river von Gaspard Dughet zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 11.475,00 (€ 13.703,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaspard Dughet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A wooded landscape with figures by a river im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 324.000,00 (€ 237.188,87).
